Emerge Wisconsin Celebrates Women’s Equality Day… But There Is Still More Work to Do

Emerge Wisconsin is excited to join with women across Wisconsin and the country to celebrate Women’s Equality Day. This is the day women won the right to vote when the 19th Amendment was signed into law 90 years ago.

While we celebrate 90 years of winning the right to vote, Emerge Wisconsin also recognizes that we still have a long way to go. Women make up 50% of the population yet, we are far below being represented by women at that same 50% level
