Wendy Strout, Executive Director

Wendy Strout is the Executive Director for Emerge Wisconsin and has been working in Democratic politics since 1992.  Wendy has worked on Congressional Races in Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Arkansas in various roles, including Finance Director.  Wendy also worked as a fundraiser in 2002, for Governor Doyle’s successful gubernatorial campaign.  She has also worked as the political organizer for AFSCME in Southeast Wisconsin where she also coordinated several labor coalitions.  Before joining Emerge Wisconsin, Wendy served as the Director for the Wisconsin Civic Engagement Project (now Wisconsin Voices). 

Kimberly Wilke, Program Coordinator

Kimberly is a native Floridian who moved up north to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated with dual degrees in English Literature and Theatre and Drama. Following graduation, she served a term as an AmeriCorps volunteer, working with AgrAbility of Wisconsin. She then went to work in the legislative office of State Senator Lena Taylor as a Constituent Relations Liaison. Currently, she works as the Program Coordinator for Emerge Wisconsin, focusing on recruitment and outreach, along with alumnae training.
